The Sanctuary Choir is the adult choral group guided by Dr. Kerry Burtis. This choir fills the sanctuary with beautiful voices and sacred music for the 11:15 a.m. Sunday service. Rehearsal time is 7 p.m. every Wednesday in the main church building.
Mission Bells (high school through adult) rehearse Wednesday evenings, from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. in the Sanctuary. This group plays the third Sunday of each month at the 11:15 a.m. Sanctuary service, September through June. Training is available for beginning players.
The MICAH Praise Band accompanies congregational singing and leads worship at the 8:45 praise service in the MICAH Worship Center.
CrossFire is the name of the youth band, led by Praise leader, Jennie Pitney. They typically rehearse in the MICAH worship center every other Sunday from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. CrossFire leads worship for the praise service about once a quarter and provides additional music for other all-church events. Individual members of CrossFire also join to lead worship with the MICAH Praise Band.
Rejoice! Kids’ Choir! Children’s choir time is during the Sunday School Hour, 9:50 to 10:20 a.m. on Sundays in the third floor choir room in the main church building. This group is for all children ages 1st to 5th grade. They sing in worship twice a month, once in the Sanctuary service and once in the MICAH service. This choir is led by Brenda Bateman and Amanda Rich.
