“What gift can we bring?” Upon hearing this verse from the hymn by the same title in our United Methodist Hymnal, you can’t help but put a smile on your face or be moved to joy. And as we get ready for stewardship season this year, this is the sentiment we cary with us. There is joy in this place called Salem First United Methodist Church and at the prompting of God’s Spirit, it is up to each of us to ask gladly of ourselves, “What gift can we bring?” to meet this moment. Throughout the month of October we’ll sing together, we’ll hear stories of the vital and impactful ministry taking place all over our church, we’ll turn to the scriptures—particularly the Gospel of Luke, and then on Sunday, October 27, with our pledge cards in hand, we’ll celebrate with our God and with each other.

Checks and Cash: You can drop your cash or check donations by the church office any time during the week or in worship each Sunday: The gift box is the back of the MICAH worship space and the offering plates are passed during the Sanctuary worship service.
Credit Card: You can give online here.
Mail: Send a check to 600 State Street, Salem, OR 97301.
Automatic Withdrawal: Contact the church office at 503-364-6709 and ask for our Business Administrator Judy Allen. She can help you with how to have funds regularly sent right from your checking account.
